Our Hearts are with Lake County

Redwood Community Services is deeply saddened by the Thursday evening passing of several of our Lake County community members due to possible drug overdoses.

Upon receiving this news RCS staff responded by reaching out to those we serve to support, whether they were directly or indirectly impacted by this tragedy as we understand how difficult this situation is especially in such a close community.

We ask that our community respect and support the families affected and report any information regarding the possession and distribution of illicit drugs including pills that are reported as being involved in this recent event.

We stress the danger of taking medication that is not prescribed to you by a physician or provided by a pharmacist. If you suspect that you have come in contact with these pills please contact the Sheriff’s office, your local law enforcement or 911 immediately.
