Information: Nola Brantley Speaks has partnered with Redwoods Community Services, Inc. to bring this training to Mendocino, Lake, and Humboldt County providers working with foster youth and youth who may be at risk of entering the child welfare system. Harm reduction principles have been identified as a best practice for working with commercially sexually exploited children and transitional age youth. This training will cover the following topics: an overview of harm reduction, an overview of the Stages of Change model, applying harm reduction principles to each stage in the Stages of Change, and safety planning.
